I am Panite Sapkota (Sobit) from Rasuwa District. Rasuwa District is 60 km north of Kathmandu city. I was born in 2046 B.S. in one of the remote villages of that district. Before believing in Jesus Christ, I was in Hinduism because I am from a Brahmin family.

After finishing my school-level studies or S.L.C., I came to Kathmandu for further study and started to stay in one rented room in Nayabazaar, Kathmandu. There was a church in that building where I used to stay. After some time living there, I got the gospel of Jesus Christ from the pastor of that church. Then I started to go to church regularly, but I didn’t accept Him. I knew Jesus is the only Savior of the world, even though I couldn’t accept Him because I was from a Brahmin family. After regular 6 month going to church I accepted Him as my personal Lord and Savior, and then, after 6 months of accepting Jesus, I took baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit from Nepal Prerit Church.

When my family knew I had become a Christian, they started to persecute me, and they even neglected me in the family because they told me If you want to come home first, you should leave to believe in Christ, in that time, I had to choose between Christ and family, but I chose Christ. I was a student, studied in a private college and stayed in a personal room, but I didn’t have a job because I was depended in my family. Then my real student and spiritual life started with strong struggles and challenges. After sometime praying, I got a job in a restaurant as a waiter, and I did my intermediate level study with doing job.

Then I started to stay in one Agape hostel which was provided through Campus Crusade. I somehow got the opportunity to grow my spiritual life in that hostel. At that time, I was also doing my bachelor’s (Bachelor in Business Studies) as well as

doing some ministry there. Then I wanted to study more about the Bible or Biblical knowledge, and I requested my pastor to go to Bible College. Then I went to Nepal Theological College and finished BTH from that college. Then I am serving the Lord through my local church. Then, after six months, I got married to a beautiful lady from Sondhupalchok district, and now I have three kids: an elder daughter for 10 years, a son for 8 years, and a small daughter for 3 years. I have been working with Nepal Christian Society for 11 years in different roles as an accountant, program coordinator, and office manager. I have completed a Master’s in Divinity from the Asian Graduate School of Theology, Nepal, in 2019 and also a Bachelor’s in Business Studies and a Master’s in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University.

After completing the Master’s in Divinity, I am building up my church believers in the knowledge of the Word of God. I love preaching, teaching, and evangelism ministry, and I have a vision to serve the Lord through these ministries throughout my whole life, as He has given me these gifts too. And also, through Nepal Christian Society, we are working with the persecuted and voiceless, and discriminated believers and people groups too.

In June, 2025, we have done apologetic conference in Kathmandu under my leadership, and in August we officially aligned with Ratio Christi International; we started Ratio Christi Nepal, and I am serving as a Chapter Director.

I would like to give thanks to my Lord Jesus Christ for giving me the heart to serve Him with my life and me and my family wants to be a blessing for many.
