As the first believer in my family, the journey was not always easy – by Pastor Dipak Lamichhane

I come from a Hindu background and am the first person in my family to believe in Jesus Christ. Before I came to faith, my life was marked by struggles, addiction, and a deep sense of hopelessness. By God’s grace, Jesus transformed my life, gave me new hope, purpose, and peace, and called me to follow Him.

As the first believer in my family, the journey was not always easy. However, over time, God continued to work in the hearts of my family members. My brothers also came to faith in Christ, and it has been a great joy to witness God’s faithfulness in our family.

For more than a decade, I have been serving the Lord through evangelism, discipleship, Bible teaching, and pastoral ministry. Ministry has brought both joys and hardships, but through every season, God has remained faithful. Throughout these years, I have continued serving without receiving financial support from any organization or ministry, trusting God to provide for my family and sustain the work He has entrusted to me.

Despite many challenges, my desire remains the same: to faithfully proclaim the gospel, make disciples, strengthen the church, and bring glory to God wherever He leads me.
