The Testimony of 2 Brothers

Cedrick and Cabrel DJIHE ~ Two Voices From Camaroon

My name is Benoit Cedrick MENZOH DJIHE, I’m a Cameroonian, living in Cameroon. I’m a Christian, born again in 2018 after hearing the gospel. Before giving my life to Christ, I was a catholic Christian like all my family. But when I realized that even though I was going to church some Sundays, I was not a child of God, I decided to give my life to Christ to become a truly child of God. But my family did not accept my faith decision. My father and my mother were against me and my faith because after giving my life to Christ, I decided to come out of the catholic church. For a long time, my parents were sure that I was insane because for them, I was supposed to born catholic, live catholic and die catholic. They find many ways to push me to abandon my faith and come back in a worldly life, but in vain. When they saw that I was more involve in my faith, the considered me as a lost person. One day, my mother called me and she said to me that, because I am serious with my faith, she considered me no more as her son because for them, I am death. That is how I was rejected by my family.

Four (4) years later in 2022, my mother gave her life to Christ. I was so happy, but my father hated me more than before. He said that I am dividing his family. He insulted me and my mother. He was so angry against me that if he could kill me, he would have done it long ago.

Two years after in 2024, my younger brother Bertin Cabrel MIAMOUH DJIHE, also gave his life to Christ when he came to live with me in the capital city (Yaoundé). That put my father in furious anger that he decided to abandon us to ourselves. He is no more supporting us financially in our daily life or in our school.

Personally, I am suffering of haemorrhoids and cannot do some physical works. Despite the fact that we are doing some little activities my brother and I just to have a daily break and to pay the house rent, we are not able to continue with our studies due to financial limitations.

I have a master’s degree in Atmospheric science and I will like to continue with a PHD, but I am limited financially. My younger brother has just finish with his bachelor degree in corporate communication but cannot do his master for the same raison.

Now we turn back to you in order to seek for prayers so that the Lord may help my brother and I continue with education and fulfil our dreams
