Rev Dr Stephen Olusola Awoleye is a pastor, researcher, and mentor with over two decades of ministry and academic leadership. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Ago-Are, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Global & National Leadership
Dr Awoleye is a Mentor with the BWA Horizons Youth Program and serves on the Commission for Evangelism and Discipleship of the Baptist World Alliance. Within Nigeria, he is Zonal Coordinator of the Baptist Student Fellowship of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, shaping the next generation of Christian leaders.

Academic & Professional Expertise
He holds a Master’s and PhD in Philosophy of Religion, with specialization in Apologetics and Religious Language. He also holds a Certificate in Humanitarian Action and Development from Baylor University. A recognized specialist in Community Development and Conflict Management among religions, he is a Certified Security Associate, published author and editor. His work bridges theology, peacebuilding, security awareness, humanitarian response, and public engagement.

Advocacy & Service
A committed advocate of religious liberty, Dr Awoleye is a member of several professional and academic bodies within and outside Africa. He serves faithfully in both sacred and secular spheres, bringing theological insight to community transformation.

Personal Life
He is married and blessed with two daughters and a son. To God be the glory.
