Dear brothers and partners in the Gospel,

With deep gratitude and reverence, we share a testimony that has profoundly marked our missionary work in a Muslim-majority community.

For a long period, newly converted believers faced a reality of great limitation. Faith in Christ was alive in their hearts, but it could not be publicly expressed. Meetings were held in secrecy, in hidden places, with constant caution to avoid exposure. Fear and social pressure made any visible expression of the church in that context impossible.

Yet, the church did not cease to exist — it prayed.

For months, there was continuous crying out before God. Intercessors within and outside the country lifted their voices asking for one thing: that the Lord would open a door where there was no human possibility. We prayed for freedom, protection, and an opportunity for these brothers and sisters to worship Christ without fear.

And God answered.

This Sunday, something that seemed impossible became reality: for the first time, the converted believers were able to gather publicly, in an open space, before the community. No longer hidden. No longer in silence. But visible, gathered, worshiping Jesus Christ under the open sky.

It was a simple moment in human eyes, but deeply powerful in the spiritual realm. Men, women, and children gathered to sing, hear the Word of God, and confess their faith with renewed courage. What was once marked by fear was now filled with the peace and joy of the Lord.

We witnessed with our own eyes that prayer has the power to transform realities that seem unchangeable. What was restricted became public. What was hidden became testimony. And what was fear became worship.

We sense that this is only the beginning of something greater that God is doing in that community. We ask you to continue praying with us, that these believers may remain firm, grow in faith, and that new doors may be opened for the advancement of the Gospel.

To God be all the glory for this historic day.

“I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.” (Revelation 3:8)
