My Story From: Kathmandu, Bāgmatī, Nepal

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the vision and mission of Strong Advocacy Group. I was greatly encouraged by your message and am excited to learn more about the work you are doing to support people of faith who have experienced discrimination, persecution, and hardship.

My name is Dipak Lamichhane, and I serve as a pastor in a growing church in Kathmandu, Nepal. I come from a Hindu background and had no Christian relatives or close Christian influences before coming to faith in Jesus Christ. Before I became a believer, I struggled deeply with questions of meaning and purpose, and my family also endured significant suffering, poverty, and illness. Through God’s grace, I came to know Christ personally, and He completely transformed the direction of my life.

Today, I have the privilege of serving His church, preaching the Gospel, discipling believers, and encouraging others to remain faithful in the midst of challenges. Because of my own journey and the experiences of many believers in my part of the world, the mission of Strong Advocacy Group resonates deeply with me.

I appreciate your commitment to standing alongside those who have been persecuted, targeted, mocked, misrepresented, or marginalized because of their faith. This is a much-needed ministry, and I am encouraged to see believers responding with courage, love, humility, and biblical conviction.

I would be glad to stay connected, learn more about your initiatives, and explore opportunities to participate in this mission. Please keep me informed about upcoming programs, resources, and opportunities for involvement.

May God richly bless you, your team, and this important ministry as you seek to strengthen and encourage believers around the world.

In Christ,
Pastor Dipak Lamichhane

I recently had the opportunity to meet three young men who were sitting and casually playing guitar. I started a conversation with them, and what began as a simple interaction gradually developed into a meaningful discussion about faith, life, Jesus Christ, and the Gospel. They were very enthusiastic and interested in talking about spiritual matters. However, it was also evident that they held some pluralistic views, believing that different religious paths may ultimately lead to God.

As we continued our conversation, I had the opportunity to share the Gospel and explain the uniqueness of Jesus Christ as the only Savior and Lord. They listened attentively and asked thoughtful questions. One of them even requested a Bible, and I was able to give him a copy. By God’s grace, we have also discussed meeting regularly—perhaps once or twice a week—to study the Bible together and continue growing in discipleship.

This experience reminded me of the importance of discipleship. Sharing the Gospel is only the beginning; believers are called to walk alongside others, helping them understand God’s Word, grow in faith, and become committed followers of Christ. Jesus commanded us not merely to make converts, but to make disciples who obey all that He has taught.

Please pray for these three brothers—that God would open their hearts to the truth of His Word, strengthen their faith, and lead them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Pray that they would grow spiritually and become faithful disciples of the Lord. Also, please pray for me, that God would provide for all of my needs, grant me wisdom, strength, and opportunities for ministry, and enable me to be faithful in the work He has entrusted to me. May God’s will be done, and may His Kingdom continue to advance through His people. 🙏✝️
