In my country, Mozambique, we are still facing significant challenges in helping people understand and respect the fundamental right to freedom of religion and worship. Because of this, advocacy in this area is of great importance to me. I personally know individuals who have experienced discrimination, mistreatment, and various forms of abuse simply because of their religious beliefs and preferences.
I would like to tell you a little about my ministry.
I serve as the Senior Pastor of Peace of Christ Evangelical Church here in Mozambique. Our church has more than fifty congregations spread across two provinces of the country.
Over the years, I have continued the work of evangelism and church planting in unreached areas. One of our main strategies is ministering to children. Through discipleship, these children grow in their faith and often become a powerful influence within their own families, sharing the Gospel with their parents and relatives.
This ministry has been deeply rewarding because we have witnessed entire families come to Christ through the testimony and transformation of their children. Although we face many challenges, including limited resources and difficult conditions in some communities, seeing lives changed by the Gospel gives us the strength and motivation to continue.
